The Moser glassworks recently welcomed a distinguished guest. To mark her 80th birthday, we were visited by Ludmila Pavlousková, née Chocholatá, niece of František Chocholatý, the legendary manager of the Moser boutique in Prague and founder of the celebrated Giant Snifters Club. Her family arranged the visit as a birthday surprise, and it turned into an exceptionally moving encounter that combined her own family history with Moser’s.

“Cubism left a deep impression in the Czech Republic. It intertwined with architecture, painting, furniture, porcelain, and glass,” says designer Rony Plesl, whose vases and bowls, designed for Moser, pay homage to this style. He greatly values collaborating with our glassmakers: “Moser is elegance, style, and craftsmanship.”

In mid-November, Luxembourg became the stage for one of Europe’s most significant showcases of artistic craftsmanship. The De Mains De Maîtres Biennale (“From the Hands of Masters”). This year’s edition was particularly meaningful for the Czech Republic, as it was chosen as the event’s honorary guest country.
