the gates of the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary will once again open to the public. The traditional brand with nearly 170 years of history invites visitors to the second annual Masters’ Day event, during which they can immerse themselves in the world of handcrafted crystal and meet the people behind it. The glassmaking craft, which was added to UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, comes to life right before your eyes in the setting of the Moser glassworks – also the only company in the Czech Republic that is a member of Comité Colbert, the French association bringing together Europe’s leading luxury cultural institutions.

Extended guided tours of the glassworks will take visitors deeper into the production areas that are normally inaccessible, revealing the process behind the creation of Moser’s iconic works. Directly in the store, guests will be able to watch the masterful work of engravers and gilders. Meet true masters of their craft in person and take the opportunity to talk with them about their work. If the world of glass captivates you, you can also learn more about the retraining program that offers newcomers an introduction to the secrets of this exceptional craft.

In addition to the glassworks tours, a rich accompanying program for the whole family will be available. Music, excellent refreshments, glass sales at unique prices, a children’s zone with a sandbox featuring 3D molds of our iconic products, and the Moser Historical Trail – visually telling the fascinating story of the now world-famous brand. This exceptional day is a celebration of Moser and outstanding glassmaking craftsmanship. We want to show the public who truly stands behind the beauty of our products – a team of talented and dedicated professionals without whom Moser would not be what it is today.

Tickets are available with only admission to the glassworks or also including a guided tour.
