The distinctively cut edges evoke ice formations sculpted by frost, while the smooth surfaces reveal the purity of lead-free crystal. The hefty, irregularly cut base recalls a solid block of ice from which elegant, thin-walled forms emerge. Creating them is amongst the glassworks’ most demanding production stages. Blowing the upper sections to such exceptional thinness requires experience, concentration, and absolute control of the material.

The very elements that give Aura its distinctive character are also amongst the most demanding to create. The substantial cuts and sharp edges require both physical strength and the exceptional sensitivity of Moser’s experienced master cutters. Each must judge the depth of the glass with absolute precision, guiding every cut to craft the distinctive geometry without compromising the crystal. The delicate, thin-walled upper sections demand the same level of expertise. Their lightness forms a deliberate contrast with the substantial cut base.
