Roman Chalupka

Continuator of family tradition, master engraver with a passion for detail

The art of engraving is often passed down from one generation to another, as is the case with Roman Chalupka. After finishing at the Glass school of Nový Bor, he joined the Moser glassworks, where he began to learn the engraving art, following the lead of his father. His passion for detail has made him a masterful engraver, whose most favourite works are the ornamental motifs. The pinnacles of his work include animal engravings, engraved drinkware collections Marie Terezie and Baroque, and the exclusive engraved décor on the Neptun bowl.
