Heinrich Sattler

The master of figural engravings. Through graphics of his, you may capture the elegance of the 1930s within the crystal

A German painter, graphic artist and designer within the field of applied arts. Heinrich Sattler was born in 1898. He graduated from Kunstgewerbeschule, Munich, after which he worked as a professor. In 1929, he commenced collaboration with the glass factory Moser. Sattler specialized in designs of cut and engraved glass. Principally, he focused on figural engravings. The most frequent motives originated by Sattler were sports activities. He captured horse racing, tennis players, yachting or pool jumpers. But also the beauty of nature.

Let the glass bloom

For romantics and spring lovers. Gentle flower motives are stylized into abstract symbols. This demonstrates how impressive can even simple lines be. Let them decorate your glass, or the whole collection, perhaps. Admire the precision, through which the engraving masters are capable of capturing even the finest geometrical shapes.

Boa gently thrown over one’s shoulders. Soirees within the charleston rhythm. Come back in time and present your treasure with the charm of the 1930s. Exactly how one of the most distinguished artists of the glass factory Moser did.
