Moser Presents the Ultra-Limited Echoes Collection

A Century of Colours, A Century in the Heart of Prague.

Prague, October 7, 2025 – The ultra-limited Echoes collection celebrates the centenary of Moser’s Prague gallery on Na Příkopě and a hundred years of Moser colours. Creative Director Jan Plecháč selected both iconic historical masterpieces and his own designs, presenting them in two extraordinary hues – Nephrite Green, created exclusively for this collection and never to be produced again, and the historic Uranium. The collection connects the visions of two bold creative minds – Leo Moser, the pioneer of Moser’s colours, and Jan Plecháč, the brand’s current Creative Director. Across a century, they symbolically pass the baton in an artistic experiment with colour.

The collection will be on display at the Moser Gallery Na Příkopě from October 7 as part of the 27th edition of Designblok, running until the end of November 2025.

Echoes and the Legacy of Experimentation

When Leo Moser began experimenting with coloured glass, it marked a breakthrough both aesthetically and technologically. A century later, Jan Plecháč continues this legacy with the creation of a deep green glass called Nephrite Green. Its melting process requires a unique method, prolonged stabilization, and exceptional precision. Due to its complexity, Nephrite Green will be used exclusively for this collection and will never be reproduced.

The deep green tones of Nephrite Green evoke stability, balance, and confidence. The colour enhances classic shapes such as the Eternity vase, Plecháč’s contemporary Magnus vase, and the iconic Pear vase.

The second colour in the collection, yellow-green Uranium glass, was originally developed by Leo Moser a hundred years ago. Even today, Uranium glass feels fresh and modern, giving historic designs like the Maharani glass new plays of light and reflections. The colour also features in Plecháč’s Abyss vase, his first design for Moser.

“Leo Moser is a great source of inspiration for me. I feel close to him in his courage and his drive to move things forward,” says Jan Plecháč.

A Century in the Heart of Prague

The Echoes anniversary collection celebrates the moment when, exactly a hundred years ago in 1925, Moser opened its first Prague boutique on Na Příkopě, in the ground floor of the Černá růže Palace. Nine years later, it expanded to the first floor, into the former apartment of the prominent Bondy family. The rare neo-Renaissance interior designed by architect Josef Fanta, complete with stained glass, inlaid wood panelling, and tiled stoves, has retained its elegance to this day.

Over the past century, the Moser gallery has welcomed thousands of distinguished visitors – including members of royal families, heads of state, and film stars.

Signature and Packaging of the Anniversary Collection

Each piece in the Echoes collection is signed with a limited edition number and marked with a special emblem inspired by the letter M from Moser’s historic logo, intertwined with the number 100. The collection comes in sand-grey packaging, referencing the essential raw material of glassmaking – sand. The gold Moser logo reflects the refinement of gilding, a hallmark of the brand since its founding. Every piece is accompanied by a certificate featuring an original illustration by Michal Bačák, created especially for this occasion.

Echoes – An Unrepeatable Collector’s Artifact

This ultra-limited edition will never be produced again. It represents a unique fusion of Moser’s century-old traditions with a bold spirit of innovation and the constant pursuit of new boundaries in coloured glass.
