Aura Collection

Karlovy Vary, February 24, 2026 – The new Aura collection by Moser captures the atmosphere of the Northern Lights. Its designer Jan Plecháč works with the contrast between icy stillness and the moment when light cuts through the dark Nordic sky – a motif translated into crystal through traditional glassmaking techniques.

Time is essential. Glass cannot be rushed – each Aura vase is created gradually. They are the result of mastery passed down from generation to generation, quiet rituals, inherited gestures, and deep focus. Precision is not merely a technique, but an expression of respect for material and tradition. Every detail and form reflects experience shaped only over time.

The pieces in the Aura collection carry a distinct atmosphere. Within their transparent structure, the silence of the northern night is captured, as well as the instant when it is pierced by the aurora. Just as light shifts across the sky, molten glass transforms under the hands of the master – from glowing mass into a vase that feels serene yet remains alive.

“From Moser’s color palette, we achieved a calm and harmonious combination reflecting the purity of nature. I see in it the clarity of night, its silence and depth. It is an aesthetic of nocturnal beauty that does not appear ostentatious, but quiet and natural,” says Jan Plecháč, Creative Director of Moser.

The polished crystal vases appear as if carved directly from ice. The reflection of the Arctic night is clear and cool. A greenish tone at the base gradually blends into a deep blue hue.

The Aura collection is cut by the finest cutters – edge grinders – who require not only physical strength to hold the heavy vases, but also sensitivity to the material. The closed, dark blue neck does not allow a view inside, making it essential to precisely estimate the depth of the glass. Moser crystal is more than glass – it is an imprint of human patience, craftsmanship, and enduring tradition.
The collection consists of three vases measuring 21, 26, and 35 cm in the Ocean Green Blue color.
