Tracy L. Zuckett and David L. Zwart, Jr. spoke to the Saint Louis University/Cardinal Glennon senior pediatric residents during their recent summer resident retreat. Ms. Zuckett's presentation, titled "Professional Liability and Insurance: The New Physician's Frequently Asked Questions," covered insurance concerns to be considered by the new physician, risk management strategies related to communication and documentation, and the nuts and bolts of a medical negligence case from filing to resolution. Mr. Zwart's presentation, titled "Physician Employment Contracts," covered issues and areas related to negotiating a physician employment agreement.
Ms. Zuckett is a principal in Moser & Marsalek, P.C.'s Medical Liability & Health Care Law Litigation group and provides professional liability defense and risk management services primarily for medical professionals, as well as other industries. She has presented and written on various civil trial practice and medical risk management topics. Mr. Zwart is a principal in the Firm's Business Law, Trusts, Estate and Tax groups.
