Brian R. Plegge

Brian R. Plegge is a member of the General Trial Litigation Group at Moser & Marsalek, P.C. His primary focus is the defense of lawsuits involving death or serious injury with long term care requirements. The vast majority of these cases allege Premises Liability, Toxic Chemical Exposure, Medical Malpractice and Product Liability. Brian has significant trial experience in Illinois as well as Missouri and has tried numerous cases to verdict in both Madison and St. Clair County, Illinois and seven other Southern Illinois counties. Brian has been employed at Moser & Marsalek, P.C. since 1980 and has also tried cases to verdict involving allegations of construction accidents and tortious assault. Brian has appeared and argued appellate decisions before the Missouri Supreme Court and Missouri Court of Appeals as well as the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Brian also has significant experience representing insurance companies and corporations based outside of the United States, and in particular Japanese corporations and Japanese insurance companies and is familiar with representing Asian corporations.

Brian has been a principal at Moser and Marsalek for 22 years and has served as Managing Principal for the firm. He represents numerous Fortune 500 companies and smaller self-insured organizations as well as various insurance companies.
